RO: Actiunea filmului se petrece demult, incepand cu anul 108, undeva in Koreea (raportat la istoria noastra, dupa ce romanii au cucerit Dacia). Acestia erau divizati in multe triburi fiecare avand cate un rege, monopolul in zona fiind detinut de un Han, deosebit de crud care lichida pe oricine indraznea sa se opuna, cel mai mult avand de suferit emigrantii.
cumwa, Printzul Mostenitor al tribului Puya (care lupta sub acoperire) si Haemosu, un brav luptator, il ataca pe Han la Comandamentul Hyunto, pentru salvarea emigrantzilor. Pe parcurs, Haemosu cade într-o cursã întinsã de Han, insa, Yuhwa, fiica sefului Habaek, îl salveazã de la moarte. Intre cei doi se infiripa o puternica poveste de dragoste, rodul acesteia fiind mai tarziu JUMONG.
Crezând cã Haemosu va pune Puya în pericol, Prim-ministrul si Yeomieul, o clarvazatoare, pun la cale un plan care sã-l omoare. In urma acestei tradari, Han îl captureazã pe Haemosu si il orbeste, inainte ca acesta sa-si vada copilul, dand de asemenea ordin ca toata familia si descendentii lui sa fie lichidati. cumwa încearcã sã-l salveze pe Haemosu dar nu reuseste si priveste cum moare ... sau poate nu ...
Trec de 20 ani. cumwa doreste ca Jumong sã-l urmeze pe tatãl sãu, Haemosu...dar este extrem de dezamãgit de comportarea acestuia, mai ales ca si-a asumat faptul ca acesta este copilul sau ...
cumwa trimite cei trei Printzi (cei doi fii ai sai plus Jumong) la muntele sacru...unde Jumong este pãcãlit si lãsat sã moarã. Este salvat de o tanara ... comercianta, si, in drumul spre munte Jumong îi surprinde pe fratzii lui...si îsi dã seama cã ceea ce s-a întâmplat a fost cu intentzie...
Acesta este un mic rezumat din primele 4-5 episoade. Serialul incepe sa se dezvolte si devine din ce in ce mai interesant. Are de toate: intrigi, dragoste, lupta, rasturnari de situatie, astfel incat iubitorii genului vor fi incantati sa-l urmareasca.
