Synopsis/ Plot

When Miri Yu finds herself pregnant by a married man who is not willing to consider a divorce, she turns to her former boyfriend Higashi for solace and advice. When Miri discovers that he has advanced cancer, the two lives in Miri's life quickly begin heading in opposite directions towards life and death.

Higashi begins several forms of treatment in New York and Japan to extend his life, and as Miri makes the final decision to have the child, Higashi makes a vow to stay alive as long as possible to help her raise the child.

For those who enjoy tear jerkers. This film played the International film festival circuit and won several awards.
